Son of Samuel Klotz and Mary Rodenbach, husband of Catharine Cressman and Mary Ann Rinker.
Father of Charles, Cecilia, Daniel, Lydia, Franklin, Catherine, John, another Daniel, Joseph, Paul, and Samuel.
**I am looking for a male to male descendant of each of the following men, who would be willing to take a Y-DNA test. Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested:
Abraham Klotz (1777-1856)
Samuel Klotz (1801-1856)
Francis Klotz (1829-1881)
Daniel Klotz (1857-1936)
To be eligible, you must be a male-to-male descendant, with no females in between you and he, and you cannot be a descendant of Daniel's son, Joseph R Klotz (as we already have one of his descendants taking the test.) I will gladly to pay for the test to be sent to you, once the Covid pandemic has ended.**
Unsure of burial location. He was living in Abington, Montgomery County in 1880. Died in South Bethlehem, at the home of his brother in law, William Walp. It is suspected that he is buried at Appel's Church (New Jerusalem Church) Cemetery, as it is noted in the transcription of his obituary at the BAPL that he was. However, the actual obituary does not indicate one way or another where he is buried, so it cannot be known for sure.
