Springfield, ILL.- Martha Jane Shrake-Crafton, 46 years old, died, at 10 o'clock Sunday morning, Jan. 3, 1915, at the family residence, 897 South Fifteenth St., of a complication of diseases. She was a daughter of Philip and Mary Ann Baldwin-Shrake of Indiana. She married Hamilton Crafton on 03 June 1885 in Sangamon County Illinois..The decedent is survived by her husband, three sons, John, Frank and Clarence Crafton, seven daughters, Mrs. Anna Federer of Decatur, Mrs. Etta Chilton of Arkansas, Mrs. Clara McCuaig of Decatur, Pearl Crafton of Rock Island, Cora, Irene and Violet Crafton of this city; two brothers, John Shrake of Springfield and Henry Shrake of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her three year old son, Henry and her eleven year old daughter, Myrtle Verna. Mrs. Crafton was a member of the M. E. church. IL State Journal, Springfield, IL 1-4-1915
