Survivors include his wife, Ruth Till Davis of The Oaks; five daughters, Freeda Davis Wood of Columbia, Annette Davis MacInnis of Mount Pleasant, Nancy Davis Evans and husband Glenn of Hartsville, Sheryl Davis Andrews and husband Chris of Columbia, and Marla Davis Lauf and husband Tim of Charlotte, N.C.; four sisters, Miriam Davis Kemmerlin and husband Clyde of Orangeburg, Charlotte Davis Harrell of James Island, Patsy Davis Hendricks of Branchville, and Barbara Davis Parnell and husband Bob of Summerville; a brother, Murray Lamar Davis and wife Emma Jo of Columbia; grandchildren, Chris MacInnis, Sarah Maxwell, Lane Buete, Amy Woodham, Laurie Taylor, Emily Andrews, Matt Andrews, Olivia Lauf and Emma Kate Lauf; and nine great-grandchildren.
