---Mr. Cummins worked at the Ford Claycomo assembly plant for 31 years, retiring as an inspector. He was a member and a deacon of the Pisgah Baptist Church, Excelsior Springs. He was a Navy verteran of World War II. He was married in July of 1943 to N. Evelyn Wood. He was preceded in death by two sons, James Cummins and Raymond Cummings, Jr.
---Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Cummins of the home; a son, Ronald C. Cummins, Warsaw, Missouri; a daughter, Norma Geiss, Excelsior Springs; a sister, Alice White, Pismo Beach, California; six grandsons; two aunts, Mildred Cronkhite and Eula Anderson of La Plata and several cousins in the La Plata and Elmer area.
---Services were held on Thursday, March 1, 1990 at the church; burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. The services were under the direction of the Prichard Chapel of Excelsior Springs. The family suggests contributions to the Raymond Cummins memorial fund in care of the church.
---Mildred Cronkhite, Millie Fredman and Virginia Burton attended the funeral services.
