ROY WILLIAM GREAR
---Roy William Grear, fifty-one, of La Plata, died at the Veterans Hospital in Excelsior Springs, Saturday Night, November 2.
---The son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Grear, he was born at Kenwood, Missouri March 17, 1890. When about ten years old he came with his parents to La Plata and most of his life since then, he has lived here.
---He served in World War I.
---He is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. William Gasaway of Joilet, Illinois, Ora Grear of Mattfield Green, Kansas, Mrs. G.D. Mott of Stockton, California, Mrs. Etta Fulmer and Wisley Grear, both of La Plata and Mrs. W.W. Spear of Fairbanks, California. One brother died in infancy.
---Funeral services are being held today, Thursday, at the Community Presbyterian Church conducted by the pastor, Rev. Fred L. Hudson. Burial was made in the La Plata cemetery.
