On 1 March 1899, Charles wed Katherine Mae Rice.
In the 1900 census, they are living with his parents, George & Mary, and they have a daughter, Leoretta. In 1910, they are in Colville, Stevens County, Washington, and a son, Floyd, has been added to the family. In 1920, they are in the Orin Precint with the additional children of Orville, Naomi, and Ida, and Charles is a laborer in a lumber mill. (Prior to this, he was a farmer.) Mary Pettengill, Charles mother who is now a widow, is also in the household.
Charles died on June 5, 1938.
