Duane S. Beltz, 43, of Jackson, Mich., formerly of Ohio, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at W.A. Foote Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mich.
He was born Aug. 4, 1963, in Marion, to Samuel E. and Marlyn S. (Pfleider) Beltz, who survive in Marion.
He formerly attended the First Freewill Baptist Church. He was a resident of Marion most of his life until moving to Michigan.
He is also survived by one daughter, Crystal Beltz of Louisiana; one son, Brandon Beltz of Marion; one grandchild, Adrian Beltz; one sister, Karen (Charles) McGrath of Minnesota; two brothers, Timothy Beltz of Newark and Steven (Michelle) Beltz of Prospect; four nieces; one nephew; and three great-nephews.
