Mrs. Emma Levengood
Douglassville, Sept. 2 - Mrs. Emma (Lessig) Levengood, 90, widow of Kryder Levengood, died yesterday in her Douglassville, R.D.2 home. Mrs. Levengood, whose husband died in 1958, was born in Pine Forge. A daughter of the late Mr. snd Mrs. Christian Lessig, she is survived by two daughters; Anna, wife of Leonard H. Chopin; Lydia, and Pearl, widow of George Dooley, Newtown; 45 grandchildren and a sister, Lydia, wife of Aaron Hemig, Birdsboro R.D.2.
Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Shalkop Funeral Home, Birdsboro, the Rev. Ernest C. George officiating. Burial will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
