Mary Allen Anthony died by lightning, which struck her and her husband in their brass bed at home, according to oral family history. She apparently was badly injured and died ten days after the lightning struck their home. Mary was the wife of Abraham Anthony. They married about 1822, probably in Oswego County, New York. They had four children. So far this researcher has been unable to identify her parents.
