Lee Everette Davidson, 76, of Kopperston, West Virginia, died in a Beckley hospital Thursday morning.

Born November 3, 1892, at Gilbert, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Wilburn and Rebecca Carter Davidson.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Stennett Davidson, three sons, Harold of Newark, Delaware, William of Holden, West Virginia, and Edsel, serving with the army in Vietnam; five daughters, Edna Everingham of Bridgeton, New Jersey, Mary Tralle of Kansas City, Missouri, Alice Jo Calhoun of Fall City, Washington, Shelba Jean Gaines of Branson, Missouri, and Carol Sue Davidson of Norman, Oklahoma; a brother, Lloyd of Gilbert, West Virginia, and three sisters, Delia Ellis, Lura Paynter, and Golda Cook, all of Gilbert.

The funeral will be at 2:00PM Sunday, in the Toneda Baptist Church with Reverend Nelson Harris in charge. Burial will be in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, West Virginia.

The body will remain at Evans Funeral Home in Oceana where friends may call from 2:10PM today.

Lee was a CPL in the 317th Infantry, World War I
