Arlin R. Watson, 74, of Tomball, TX, died at his home April 21, 2010, following a battle of more than three years with the rarest form of T-cell lymphoma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24, at Klien Funeral Home in Tomball.

Born May 18, 1935, in rural Hillsboro, he was a son of the late Roy and Ora (Taulbee) Watson. His first marriage was to Joyce Rensman. It ended in divorce. He married Frances Wester Jan. 6, 1962, and she survives.

Mr. Watson graduated from Hillsboro High School. He served in the Army Air Force and lived in Towson, MD, before moving to Texas. While in Texas he worked for a major bank in Houston. Following down-sizing, he owned a diagnostic referral company for a number of years before retiring.

Survivors include five daughters, Tjode Whitlock of Carlinville, Teresa Dickinson of Homer, Jillayne (husband James) Magness, and Laura (husband Kevin) Kelly, both of Austin, TX, and Paige (husband Christopher) Martinez of McAllen, TX; a son, Mark (wife Penny) Watson of Tomball; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Wayne Watson of Litchfield, Jesse (wife Dona) Watson of Fenton, MI, and James (wife Lola) Watson of Hillsboro; and three sisters, Ethel Lang of Norwalk, CA, Essie Collins and Norma (husband Willard) Baker of Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
