Mrs. Thomas Acomb for many years a resident of this town died at the residence of Stanton Babcock near Haskinville, on Thursday, March 22d, aged about 70 years. The cause of her death was paralysis. She, leaves four sons, William, Franklin J., and Fred D, Acomb of this town and Daniel G. Acomb of Dansville, and four daughters; Mrs. Stanton Babcock of Haskinville, Mrs. Herbert Flint of Fremont, Mrs. Daniel B. Hall and Mrs. Samuel Sterner of this town. Mr. Acomb died about seven years ago. The funeral was held at the M. E. church on Saturday, March 24, Rev. W. H. Farnham officiating. The burial was on Sandy Hill.
