Park was born in Beaver, OK to parents William Ewell Bingham and Clara Mae McKelvey. He graduated from Healdton High School and served in the Navy during World War II. He received his B.S. in Business from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. from Oklahoma City University. He worked for the IRS and later was self employed. Park enjoyed many wonderful vacations with his family and a full life of athletic activities. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Arlington, TX.
