Miss Gladys Way, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N.P. Way, of this city, was married on Wednesday, November 15, to Mr. O.K. Flood, of Peoria, Michigan. The wedding took place at Atchison, Kansas.

Gladys Flood Bolton, Frankfort, Kansas passed away Wednesday morning, July 28, 1982 at St. Mary's Hospital, Manhattan, Kansas. She was born at Talmo, Kansas, August 28, 1903 to Noah and Linda Horner Way. She was married to Olaf K. Flood on November 15, 1922 at Atchison, Kansas. They lived in Wayne, Kansas from 1924-42 then they moved to Frankfort, Kansas. Mr. Flood died January 2, 1975. She was married to Dr. Daniel W. Bolton, February 10, 1978. He died May 13, 1979.

Survivors included two sons, Robert D. Flood, Indianapolis, Indiana and Donald L. Flood, Topeka, Kansas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, July 30, 1982 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Frankfort, Kansas with Reverend Ken Rogers officiating. Music was provided by Helen Shearer accompanied by Cheryl Shepherd. She sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art". Pallbearers were Terry Flood, Terry Noordsy, Albert Arlint, Jim Kennedy, Don Glynn and Alva Teagarden. Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Wayne, Kansas. Padden Funeral Home was in charge of the service.
