Glisby Bishop, served in the United States Army, in World War II. He married Margaret Alene Lott September 29, 1939 in Altus, Jackson County, Oklahoma. They were the parents of two children, Jan, and Dick. They were long time resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Glisby was a Cat Operator, he helped build the Keystone Dam, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
