Funeral services for Urban "Chick" Ruether of Dutzow, will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. from St. Vincent's Church, Dutzow.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. from Miller Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Ruether is survived by his wife Sophia (nee Koenig) Ruether by a son Mark & wife Tresa Ruether of Jefferson City, by four daughters Elaine & husband Tom Nick of Kansas City, Kansas, Mary Anne and Husband David Knotts of Dutzow, Nancy & husband Gary Miller of Overland Park, Kansas, and Carol & Douglas Wehmeyer of Washington. He is also survived sisters Louise and husband Marvin Schwoeppe of Dutzow, Margaret Holtmeyer of Dutzow, Anna Marie Wessel of Dutzow, Joan and husband Donald Heggemann of Concord Hill and Bernice and husband Carl Borcherding of Dutzow, by 12 grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
Memorials may be given to Urban & Sophie Ruether Scholarship fund at St. Vincents Grade School.
