Roger Dean Joy-Evergreen Cemetery
TLS,
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to be a photo volunteer. It is really appreciated. I just wanted to give you an update. I actually went to the cemetery on Saturday unexpectedly. One of Roger's triplet brothers is also interred there. He doesn't have a headstone and we want to get him one. I knew Roger had one because I've seen it, although not recently. Took us forever to figure out where he was and it was so confusing because there was no marker. My husband and cousin were beginning to think I was crazy...so was I for that matter. Finally decided to use my keys to dig down to see if I hit anything. Eureka! Spent about 30 minutes digging and 20 minutes scrubbing, but there was the headstone buried under 3 inches of clay dirt. I have no idea how long it's been covered. I haven't been there in more than 10 years. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I really am grateful.
Gloria

You found them! My goodness, you are fast.

What an incredibly rustic looking and fascinating marker it is; and it's held up so nicely over the past 112 years. I can't wait to show this to the other family members.

Thank you very much for your gracious and generous contributions of time and talent to our family and the Find-A-Grave community. 803 volunteer photos is an incredible accomplishment!

Cheers!

Eli Spangler Page
I was so pleased to see that Find A Grave had a listing for Eli J. Spangler in the Angelus Rosedale Cemetery. Your photograph of the headstone is greatly appreciated. Eli's wife Sarah was my great grand aunt Sarah Ellen Falley. Until now, I was unaware when or where she & Eli died.

I did notice that Sarah's name does not pop in the Find A Grave Index. I have only been able to access her page by clicking on her highlighted name on Eli's page. I was wondering how easily this can be remedied. I have a small amount of information to add. (I am not familiar with the Find A Grave process.)

Thank you, Reva J. Fields

Norman and Laura Menerey transfers?
Hi-nice work you have been doing!

Can I possibly have transfer of Norman Menerey #82368068 and his wife Laura McLean Menerey #82368067 ans I have much to edit on their pages for bios. My mother was a Menerey and she is in this huge Menerey family. (Her grandfather, Martin Menerey is Isaacs brother-Normans dad).

Thank you very much for your time.

Thank you very much for the great picture of his headstone. I greatly appreciate the time and effort you took in procuring this photo and uploading it to findagrave.com. It is wonderful to have this image of his headstone with his memorial, since headstones do eventually break down and become unreadable. You do a huge service for so many people every time you volunteer to take pictures for findagrave.com and words cannot fully express my gratitude.

Best Regards,
