|Thomas Lamar Farnum Jr||Violet Edith (Dunkerley) Masson & Charles Cooper Headstones @ Angelous-Rosedale|
Dear Kind Sir,
Thank you so much for posting the pictures of headstones for Violet Masson & Charles Cooper! This cemetery is so interesting. I really look forward to the day that I can visit the graves of my relatives there.
As for Violet, on her headstone it clearly says, "Wife of Wm. C. Masson", which is so great because there is some controversy out there about William John Cooper Carr Masson somehow having another wife inbetween 1898-1908. It has to do with the 1900 Census for Calabasas and Violet somehow being put down as "Catherine". Because there is so much interest in Calabasas these days, I am trying to get the story right! You have helped immensely by showing in detail what her headstone says, so I thank you for that.
Thomas Lamar Farnum, Jr.

|Trisha Bomar||Eugene Gilroy|
TLS, Thank you for finding my great uncle Eugene Gilroy. He died when only a boy when he and his twin sister got diphtheria. I was not hopeful I would ever get this photo. This cemetery seemed pretty quiet. I went to see his twin sister last Fall. She still talks about him a lot. It is a kind thing you do.
