Hello- saw your request for Harry Cole stone photo in Maplewood Cemetery, Fairfield. The have already locked the gates for the winter season, and there is no climbing over that fence. :(

I wish I could, I could try but I don't think I have the privilege to do that because I didn't add the cemetery name myself. I'll try to add 'NEW' or find the person who added the cemetery name...?

Hi, and Happy Holidays, 🎄
I know it's a bit of a nuisance, (as I also consider it a nuisance) but there are two Pleasant Hill Cemeteries in Livermore Falls, ME. I live only a few miles away and have began to make continual visits. The OLD section of the cemetery is on the right side of the road. Over the past couple years this has been verified by a slight change in the sign. Across the street there is the NEW section, also called Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
This is where it gets a little confusing: I've been trying to sort out the memorial for the OLD and NEW section to make it easier for people to locate graves. Asa and Greta Gordon are buried in the new section across the street, and you will see if you look it up, (there is only one other cemetery called Pleasant Hill in Livermore Falls) it is also known as Treat Memorial Cemetery.
Sorry for such a long note,
~ Ms. Cook

Your welcome to copy the obit and add it to the earlier record. I'm confused though, her obit clearly states she's in the Pine Grove Cemetery, not the Catholic Cemetery. Did you actually photograph a stone for her in the Catholic Cemetery? Whatever you think is easier, I'm willing to do. Suki

|Kenneth Keeton||Wow, you found my father's grave.|
Dear Mrs. Winship,
I am Kenneth Harold Keeton and my father was Charles Donald Keeton Born on March 7th, 1930 and died on January 10th, 2011. He was interred in the Sarasota National Cemetery, Fla. Plot: SECTION 13 SITE 1163. I received a letter from my Mother's cousin and she said her and my mother Miriam Beth Keeton and her were friends and grew up together but lost contact many years ago. She was asking about my mother and in the return letter I am going to write her, I would really like to include a image of my mother's grave marker. If you would be so kind as to photograph her marker that would be next to my father's marker, i am sure my mother's cousin would appreciate it much for me to include in my return letter. This would also mean so much to me also as I am disabled and unable to drive the 100 plus miles to photograph it myself. if you are unable to find it as it should be ajason to my father's military marker, i can get the section and plot info for you but I will have to find someone to drive me to the bank so I can get into the safety deposit box. I am not sure if you know how much this would me to me much as her cousin, but I would never be able to Thank You enough.
PS: My Email address is email@example.com and if needed I can provide you with my personal address and phone number.
Again, Thank You in advance,

Wow! Ten years entering data here... Congrats!
I'm the official genealogist of the Boutin Association of North America. In Lottie's obit, her 2nd husband was named Joseph Boutin and in an article on her 100th birthday he was named Mike Boutin. I found a database where there is a Mike Boutin who died circa 1988 in Waterville, and Joseph Boutin died in 2001.
Do you think you can help me out getting more info on that Boutin so that I can link Lottie to the Boutin family tree.

Hi Bev-no action needed, just thought it was very interesting that while Bernard Leroy Brackett was born on May 9, 1933, there was also Bernard Douglas Brackett born in Virginia on the same date, May 9, 1933. Also served his country. Threw me for a loop for genealogy stuff. What are the odds?

|Dale Hansen||RE: Purple Heart Entries|
If you can take a photo of the reverse side of the Purple Heart itself, it likely has your uncle's name thereon. That suffices as needed evidence.

|Dale Hansen||RE: Purple Heart Entries|
Your uncle's stone does not contain the inscription PH or Purple Heart. Might you have a copy of his military orders awarding him the Purple Heart? That would suffice as evidence of course.

Bev, I have made the parentage correction on Allison Libby III. Thanks for catching this. It was not how I had originally created it. Someone must have messed with it. I know my Allison Libbys, and would not have put it in this way. -- Pam

|DJM-ME||Clifford Henry Sinnett, #62126345|
Thank you for the wonderfully detailed entry you created for this person. From your information about his great-grandparents (Cpt. William Henry Sinnett & his wife Joanna), I was able to connect him to my family line through my father, Bruce Herman Matthews. They were the parents of my father's great-grandmother, Laura Etta Sinnett Johnson. Her daughter was Leona Frye Johnson Stover and her daughter was Laura Lydia Stover Matthews.
Laura Etta Sinnett's brother, Everett Erving Sinnett, was the father of Ervin Clifford Sinnett and grandfather of Clifford Henry Sinnett.
Also, Joanna's full name was Joanna Frye Thompson Sinnett, a daughter of Corydon Thompson & Priscilla Curtis.
Thank you again for all your work,

Have added photos for Little Tommy Guptill,
Find A Grave Memorial# 52267043- Shaw / South Albion Cemetery. Took photos of front and back of stone so you can see both his parents names. Perhaps you have other documentation, but his stone sets close to the road and you can see the Abbott lot sets back behind the Johnston Lot, which we think Tommy is in. Another photo added by someone else shows the Abbott lot, but Tommy's stone is not in that lot. Anyway, as mentioned you may have a listing that says it is part of the Abbott lot. Will let you decide how you wish to list it in his bio.
Thanks for your time. :)
