Find A Grave is not letting my edits go through to you. Please add this to Frank bio section when time allows.
Thanks so much for all you do. Much appreciation!
s/o Horace L. Howe & Sarah Ellis Howe Cilley.
(Information from: Lisa Hildreth Rhodes- Nathan Hale Cemetery Records. Frank is listed under Horace Howe.)

|ForgetMeNot||Frank (Frankie) Howe|
Lisa left a message indicating "Frankie" in Maplewood Cemetery (Fairfield, Me.) is probably the son of Horace L. Howe & Sarah Ellis Howe Cilley. Frankie's stone is practically unreadable. But the name Howe does stand out a bit. Since he is next to Florence (her birth parents are correct) we thought Howe was Sarah's maiden name was Howe, not another married name.
Will send you edits so you can easily correct our mistakes. (Oh the shame!)
Message sent about Frankie's parents:
RE: Cilley- Florence & Frank
I'm pretty sure baby Frank Lesley Howe is the son of Horace L. Howe & Sarah Ellis Howe Cilley's son. Frank is listed with Horace in the Nathan Hale Cem Collection

Thank you for taking time to respond. The stones are probably flat, therefore harder to find searching on foot with no lot numbers. Knowing other surnames in lot / plot area should be very helpful! Thanks again- hope you are feeling much better. :)

|Karen Harriman Nunan||Resthaven Cemetery/Windsor ME|
Find A Grave Memorial# 125096760 is for John Wesley Harriman. The gravestone is for him, his mother and another young sibling.
The husband and father is William Henry Harriman (my 2nd great grandfather) who died in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1910. His death certificate indicates that he was buried in Windsor, Maine. He is not listed in a search of Harriman's in Resthaven Cemetery. Can you give me any hints on how to find out if he is buried there?

|Dale Hansen||Purple Heart Entries|
A big thanks to you for all your contributions. I am a West Point graduate and am particularly interested in stones having the inscription PH or Purple Heart thereon, as that allows for registration of the individual on the Purple Heart Hall of Honor (www.thepurpleheart.com). This may be a much bigger task than I realize, but if you add photos of stones having that inscription, might you be able to notify me?

|ForgetMeNot||RE: Glennis Jackson|
Found Glennis Jackson's stone today, and took a photo! Of course it was the day after we messaged you. See you have removed the request already so we are going to just go ahead and add the photo anyway.
Sorry to hear your having medical issues. Hope your starting to feel better.

We have a map with plot / lot numbers, but no names for Maplewood Cemetery Fairfield, Me. If you can get a number for Glennis Jackson will do our best to fulfill your photo request, or any others you may have memorials for in that cemetery, or cemeteries near by.

I just fulfilled your photo request from the marker as St. Joseph's cemetery. Note the burial date is not on the marker. I saw your note regarding another memorial set up at Forest Hill cemetery. I will check to see if I can locate a marker at Forest Hill the next time we go to the cemetery. This may be a cenotaph.

Will do! I'd love to meet you as well.
I didn't think about the geography until we were back home and I noticed how much you had contributed to Grove!
We vacation in Rockland every other year, so 2018 is likely to be our next visit.

Really appreciative of all the genealogy work you do. Still looking for my elusive Cowan/Cowen married to Richard Hustus in Unity, Me. Suspect she came out of Sydney/ Vassalboro area but can't definitively list her parents.

|Alex P. Reed||RE: Geoffrey Sullivan|
His remains have never been found, but his daughter Sherry has been fighting the Cuban government for the return of her father's remains. Despite his remains never being recovered, Geoffrey's family had his name added to a memorial at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Since this site frowns on duplicate memorials, they would want a merging of the one you created and the other memorial. Once that is done, it will be one memorial and should still list the burial location as the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, plus everything else that was on both memorials (photos, name, places and dates of birth and death, etc.). See if the contributor of the other memorial will merge his with yours so that it is one memorial instead of two.

9/29/2015 Hi, John nor son Kevin are here. Our grounds crew verified that there is no one in either grave. The obit stated that he would be buried here at a later date. I called the funeral home and they stated the family must still have the ashes. Thanks
