RE: Maine
Hi Bev,
Yes, I am and the next time you're down in Florida give me a heads up and we can meet. I'm in the middle of the state. Avon Park.

Really appreciative of all the genealogy work you do. Still looking for my elusive Cowan/Cowen married to Richard Hustus in Unity, Me. Suspect she came out of Sydney/ Vassalboro area but can't definitively list her parents.

RE: Adelaide Daggett
Perhaps this person went by another name, many of our ancestors have their given birth names on their stones, but were known by another name. If someone suggests a name change again perhaps you can add it to the notes. Thanks for all you do.
Good to be back in touch. :)

Alex Reed
RE: Geoffrey Sullivan
His remains have never been found, but his daughter Sherry has been fighting the Cuban government for the return of her father's remains. Despite his remains never being recovered, Geoffrey's family had his name added to a memorial at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Since this site frowns on duplicate memorials, they would want a merging of the one you created and the other memorial. Once that is done, it will be one memorial and should still list the burial location as the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, plus everything else that was on both memorials (photos, name, places and dates of birth and death, etc.). See if the contributor of the other memorial will merge his with yours so that it is one memorial instead of two.

Vivian Ritchie Smith # 64163483

I just made another edit as the previous edit was rejected to change Smith to Wright.

On the headstone it clearly has "Vivian Ritchie Wright" as the name. Nothing in the Bio indicates that she had remarried. Why, then. was my edit rejected?

9/29/2015 Hi, John nor son Kevin are here. Our grounds crew verified that there is no one in either grave. The obit stated that he would be buried here at a later date. I called the funeral home and they stated the family must still have the ashes. Thanks

Thank-you so much for transferring Adam to to me.I "attempted" to see if the person who had created the memorial for his Uncle/my cousin Larry would transfer him to me as well but they are no longer a member or something as I had/have no way to contact them but someone did link Larry to his Dad so all is good :-)

Have a great day & thanx's again,

Thomas and Agnes
Thomas and Agnes were my great, great grandparents also. William was my great grandfather, and Annie was my grandmother. I have seen your name on a lot of the Walton information, so I figured we must be related. Any information that will help me fill in the blanks would be appreciated. I took a trip to Unity today, but I got here too late to visit the historical society. Maybe next year! (Visiting from Florida)

RE: Augustus Wilson previous message.
Thanks Bev and no problem. The mix-up has happened before. The pictures were not the best - the stones could use some cleaning up. I keep forgetting to take water with me to soften the stuff on the stones so I can scrap it off.

Holy Rosary Cemetery
Need a hand -

Old Holy Rosary Cemetery located on Route 1 New Sweden Road Caribou

New Holy Rosary Cemetery located on Lower Lyndon Street Caribou

Seems all the entries on FindAGrave are conjoined together. How do we split them so they show the proper location?
