Oops, sorry, Dave, I just noticed you sent a name correction for Calbel/Caleb Symons as well. If the name is Caleb then my record is probably correct putting him as a son. Would you mind sharing your source with me? I'm wondering if we are talking about two different people.

Hi David, It is good to hear from you again. You requested I add "D/O Jesse and Peninah Symons" to Calbel Symons' profile, yet the record I copied says the inscription was "s of Jesse and Peninah". Did you see the inscription in person or have a better source? I know that you get around. I'm guessing you have seen every inscription in Wayne County!

I was wondering if you and the Mrs would be available for lunch next week. I should be in town. I'll drop you a line when it gets closer.

|James Rogers||Iva V Tucker|
David, I found that James William Coles 1st wife was Allie Margaret Clark. They were married for 7 years and had two children Harry Henley Coles and Van Buren Coles. When Allie Clark died, James William then married Idea V Tucker and had the last three children with James William Coles. Sorry for the confusion on my part, but never knew I'd a Tucker, but did know her daughter Grace. Thank you for taking you time with me.

Sorry David I do not have her obituary. My line is through her spouse Absalon Browns' half-sister, Hannah Brown. Hannah was my grandmother.

Thanks, David, for your reply. I was hoping someone would contact me. I don't see an option BIO on the edit page. Didn't know where else to put it.

|Diane Dayley||calculating date of birth from death date|
Thanks David for your service to Find A Grave. I would like to add that when you calculate the date of birth for a person from their date of death, do not count the day they died. For example Gabriel Fowler died Apr. 3, 1885 at age 45 yrs. 3 days. His date of birth should be March 31, 1840 because he did not live the complete day of April 3, 1885. Thanks.

Thanks for telling me about the auto edit feature. I will try it out on new memorials that I obtain. Meanwhile thank you very much for making the links for me on the 3 McDonald brothers in Marengo Cemetery.

|James Rogers||RE: Coles|
Dave, thanks. My grandfather is Harry Henley Coles. He is listed as Iva V Tuckers son. He is buried in Paducah, KY in Oak Grove Cemetery, Paducah, KY. If it gets to be a Hassel that's OK. Funny just never heard of Idea V Tucker. I have always thought Allie Margaret Clack was my grandmother. But I do know, nothing is certain in life.

|Priscilla||Regarding your message|
I can understand why something small can push you over the edge when you are so stressed. I'm truly sorry for what you are going through with your health. You made me realize I need to reign in my zeal to correct things on Find A Grave.
My good wishes and take care,

Didn't mean to come across as bossy and pushy. You can ignore me entirely and I won't bother you again. I am the last person who wants to offend anyone.

79th and Zionsville Road? That's where I work, on the north east corner @ 3M. Did she live on the south east corner? There used to be an old farm house there. I think it was torn down about 20 years ago It's still an empty lot. We used to own that lot. Don't know if we still do or not.

You're welcome David ... I'm trying to get as many of them out there as possible as this is most likely the only picture that still exists for these boys. And some of the stories will get you like the vet that came home for the funeral of his wife got the flu and then he died as well. I never realized so many didn't make it to the battlefield. Expect more updates as I come to them LOL.

My grandfather is Harry Henley Coles, his father is James William Coles, but I do not know who Iva V Tucker happens to be. I have always known that Allie Margaret Clark was his wife.
Your thoughts in this matter.

In my opinion yours was done correctly and I wanted to add personal information to go along with the pictures. It's really sad that some people see their selves as the Find A Grave Police.
Sorry that I opened a can of worms for you.
I too am disabled and have a difficult time walking, but when I get a chance I want to go to Van Buren and Marion to take picture of family members graves. I really appreciate that you take your time to photograph graves for others.

The death you have for Harry F. Lambert is wrong. According to the application for his military headstone made by his wife Mary Kaucher Lambert he died in Oct. 18, 1959 not 1954. You can see the actual application at ancestry.com. Thanks.

|Mary Ann Hinkle-Ineich||Seeking Permission to Post|
Thank you so much for doing this.
I would like your permission to post the photo of Frederick H. Dingwerth and his wife Margaret A. Hinkle (Find A Grave Memorial# 68046782)(same stone)to my familytree on Ancestry. I will admit I had already done it and then I went back to thank you and read your profile (I wanted to see if you were related to the Kennedy's in our family) and saw your message.
I apologize and if you don't want me to--I will remove them immediately. I just didn't want to remove them and then have you say it was ok--as it is kind of a pain to add them.
Regardless--thank you for all you do.
