RE: John West
I, too, have had to delete several memorials because two cemeteries were merged. That's why I think findagrave should monitor creating new cemeteries. When I go to enter names, I now check an entire state for a name and have not had as many problems.

Thank you for your quick response. I have had so many people that never bother to respond at all or delete their duplicate. I have about 5 pages of duplicates that I have been slowly sending to Find A Grave for them to merge or delete some of these duplicates where the contributor has been notified. There are many people that get so nasty and respond with 'I don't care. That's my family member and I'm not removing it" and 'Who am I? The Find A Grave police?' If it weren't for all the good people on here and the fact that I'm doing something I believe needs to be done, I wouldn't bother being on here. Anyway, thanks for being one of the 'nice guys'!

RE: Margaret Cummings Morrical
David,

Your knowledge and willingness to help is incredible. I couldn't be more grateful for the information you're providing. The last place I am stuck is regarding Jessie Morrical's father and mother, George Morrical (1849?) and Margaret Cummings Morrical (1852). I can't find almost anything on Margaret because her maiden name is sometimes written as Cumins and Cummings and one time I believe Commings. And George seems to be difficult to find any information on also as I have seen Morical Morrical Morcale etc. As far as the generations before George Morrical I have them going back to 1742 with William (Wilhem) Morrical (Morgel). Can you unlock the mystery of George and his wife Margaret (Margareta?)

Much appreciated,
Dino

Morrical
David,

Again I appreciate the Emma Pearl information. Can you help me with Morrical? Specifically Margaret Cummings Morrical, her husband George & their family?

Kind Regards,
Dino

RE: Emma Pearl
David,

Once again that would be amazing & tremendously appreciated. I have been working tirelessly on the genealogy if my wife's family for her, her family & my children. My family immigrated from Greece and due to the nations lack of official record keeping I can only go back a generation or 2 on my family. The fact that I can create a broad & accurate picture on my wife's side is not only rewarding to me but her family as well. Any & all data you can provide is again incredibly helpful & truly appreciated.

RE: Vernon Family
David, Please accept my sincerest apologies for thinking that you did something that you did not do concerning the deletion of information in my Emory Vernon memorial. Be angry with me but not Jon because he had nothing to do with this situation whatsoever. If you have it within your heart please forgive me for jumping to conclusions. I simply didn't understand what caused your name to replace mine on a memorial that had already existed and that I did not create from scratch. I BELIEVE what you have told me. Thanks for responding to my emails.
Blessings to you and yours today and always---Sheila

Tom Blease 1893-1989
Hi Dave - My error. I typed the long interesting historical obituary for the son, who died in 1989 that I should have sent to Jane, not you. Please don't add that one to the Thomas Henry Blease grave, who died in 1919.

I did send a very short obituary for the father who died in 1919 to you. Sorry for the mix-up with same names!!

You sent this edit:
Elizabeth Brannon

Birth Date:
Dec. 5, 1830

But your photograph appears to show 1836.

Can I ask your source of 1830?

Claburn Lay McCartney # 107499425
Could you please see if you have an available photo of this memorial site. He is a great granfather.
But most of the family is buried in Missouri.
So he had been more difficult to locate.
He was married to Mary Susan McGee, May, Ward, McCartney. Still have not located her.
I will look in Illinois now though,
I would like to link them.
Appreciate your time and efforts on Find a Grave.
It has been a great help to our family.
