Thank you for your quick reply. Do you live in the area? Although I live in California, I will be in northern Georgia the end of November. Is it possible that you could point me in the correct direction? Is the cemetery/church difficult to find?
I know that in 1850 when the twins were buried that it was Union County. I have been trying to locate where my family lived with only "District 85" as my census guide. I think this is a break through! Is it an active church? I'm wondering if it has records of its membership families before the 1850 census. Do you have an idea where or how I could find an address or phone number?
Sorry to burden you, I'm just very thrilled to have run across this grave!

Hello, and thank you.
The baby twins Harriet and Cynthia in Coopers Creek Baptist Church Cemetery are siblings to my great grandmother. I have tried to find where they lived in Union County, so now I know that it was Fannin County! Do you know who put up this tombstone? I'd love to know. Perhaps they are related and I could solve some mysteries.
What a nice surprise!
I am a contributor, so you can leave a message on my site.

Writing to ask permission to use your photo for use on my Ancestry tree. Mabel Benik Memorial #103780349. I can find no way to contact the person who took the photo of the marker. Do you know I could get her permission to use her photo also
Thanks for your dedication to this very useful tool for use in family genealogy.

You show him link to Laura Louetta Parker Haynes as his wife but this is his mother. Laura Louetta Parker Haynes was married to Elisha Maxwell "Lish" Haynes #26686662 and no one else. Cleveland went by the name Coy and shows him with his family on the 1920 census and is 7 years old. Please correct asap.

This is in regard to a gravestone that you took a photo of in Ball Ground Cemetery in Murray County , Georgia. It just had a date on it 12-6-1838. I am certain that this is my great-great-aunt Elizabeth Ballew Elrod. Her husband John H. Elrod is buried in this cemetery and so are her parents Daniel and Mary Harriet Jackson Ballew. This date is also her birth date. Just a note for any genealogist out there searching for Ballews or Elrods. These two families also lived in the Ball Ground Community of Murray County. Both her and her husband were born there. Cindy Ballew Wells.

Hello. I wanted to take a moment and say thank you. I have been searching for my fathers grave for a very long time now. In fact, I wasn't even sure if he was dead. Today, I got on this website and found the picture of the gravesite for Johnny Ed Long, thanks to you. You have no idea how much this means to me. I am inspired now to pay this forward and submit my own photo's to this website.
I wrote down some of the requests for photo's and went out today and visited a few cemeteries and took pictures.
I'm not sure what prompted you to take the photo, but I am forever grateful. I had not seen my father since 1993. Now, thanks to you I know the location and I can visit his grave now.
Keep doing what you're doing. You made an impact on my life and I'm sure you will for others.

Are you related to this lady? I have her ECA records and she was Sarah Jane Chastain, daughter of Obedier and Mary Ann Keith Chastain. Her step father was Silas Pinkney Bohannon. She is listed in the census records as Bohannon. Her father died just after Mary Ann's 4th child, so all kids were real young. Sarah states most of her family history in this ECA. Please reply or email me. Thank you.

I was wondering if Bill was any relation to you. I know you said that you were not related to many that you've posted, so I guessing probably not.
Bill was my Great Uncle Alexander's observer on a DH-4 in the 278th Aero Squadron. The both lost their lives due to an accident on the 29th of November 1918. I was looking for some extra information on this young man. Thank you

Well, I don't really remember where I had gotten the name Mary. I looked on Ancestry.com and there is another Leonard Faught married to a Mary Elizabeth Eubanks. That may of where I got it. I corrected her name and thanks for letting me know.
