RE: Thank You!!!
I've made through 2 of the 12 children :o
the thing is when I'm updating my kinfolk there are several contributors in Boone County that own the memorials, do you own memorials of all your family?

Alvena's husband Lester Victor Poe is my 4th cousin 1x's removed. I'm working on the descendants of my 4th GG's James Palmer and Sophia Bruce, right now I'm on the family of their grandson Thomas D Hunt, his daughter Alma married Thomas Poe. most of this family are buried at Mount Nebo Cemetery.
James and Sophia had 6 children, James and his second wife had 6 children, I'll be in Boone County for a while :)

RE: Lloyd W Moreau
Um, isn't that the purpose of findagrave?
I know some are very private but whats difference between an obit that's posted in the newspaper and now online and the info on findagrave?

RE: Lloyd W Moreau
the best part on mine was she had no email address posted and her message feature was disabled, I couldn't contact her if I wanted to, probably a good thing ;) I did report the message on my gg's flower memorial to Find A Grave as it just looked ugly, they removed it right away.
BTW this grandfathers name was Perry Pickle Melvin, now there's a name!

RE: Lloyd W Moreau
Its bound to happen, I just don't understand why people get so cranky about it,its easily fixed and thanks for fixing it :)
I once had a contributor demand that I remove my duplicate memorial for my great grandfather, I had been searching for his burial place for a year, finally found him in a okcemeteries list, I wrote down all the info but didn't get around to making the memorial until the next day, it just happened that a volunteer had been out to the cemetery the day before and made a memorial, he graciously deleted his memorial as mine had more info and links and added his photo, so why did she need to be so nasty, OH, and her demand was also left in his flower offerings.

Lloyd W Moreau
Hi Ron, Lloyd W Moreau 116051435 is a Duplicate of Sgt. Lloyd W Moreau 55023220, I understand wanting to honor military with ranks but it really throws off a search, I would have never found it if he had not been linked to parents, would you please add the photo to the original memorial.

Craig Transfers
Hi Ron: I follow the Craig, Cave, Hawkins, Haden, Johnson group that goes back to pre-Revolutionary War Orange county VA because these people regularly married my Williams family My maiden name - my gg gf was the editor of the Missouri Telegraph. His father was also John Williams. I've been searching for 40 years & the link eludes me!! These Craigs should be on your list, not lost in mine....

Cenotaph
Hi Ron,

I'm sorry I didn't mean to read your message but I received an edit from Baumgartner and wanted to see who that was cause I didn't recognize it and that is where I found your message regarding cenotaph and thought I'd help you out. I hope you aren't mad and think I'm being hateful. I just wanted to help you out:) Anyway, I have two that I need to have done from the Lovelace Cemetery in Danville, MO for the mother and son are buried there and a relative actually removed the stones (but I found the sons footstone) to a cemetery in the state of Texas and planted to stones without an actual burial. What a mess! Anyway, see below to find out what you do cause I need to do it as well.

Have a good one! Roxanne

What is a cenotaph? How do I have a memorial designated as a cenotaph?

A cenotaph is a tomb or a monument erected in honor of a person or group of persons whose remains are buried elsewhere. It can also be the initial marker for a person who has since been interred elsewhere.
To add a cenotaph, create a memorial just like any other. Then email edit@findagrave.com with a link to the memorial and a message to mark it as a cenotaph.

RE: Baumgartner and Chandler
Ron,
Your welcome. Glad to help.
I've been researching the family's of the three brothers Johannes (John) Matheus (my 3rd great grandfather) and George Michael (G.M.) that came here from Germany. The G.M. Baumgartner family spent time in Boone County and also Riverside California. His family (wife, daughters, grand daughters) are buried in both places. I too believe that the marker for Lula in Columbia is a reference and she is buried near her father (G.M.) in California.
Thanks for your consideration,
Ty Baumgartner
