Thank you so more for the clarification on this Grace L Shea...

Grace Shea
Hi Green Hills Stones Calling,

I have recently encountered a mystery regarding my great gramma Grace L Shea...

I was doing some online research on my Great Gramma Grace L Shea recently.

I found a memorial for a Grace Katherine Shea on this site. there were no dates for her birth or death. but I requested a photo anyway since there wasn't one and I hoped to obtain some more information since I still didn't know when my great gramma passed away.

Just yesterday, Jeff (a contributor for find a grave) posted a photo of the actual grave on Grace Kathyrn Shea's memorial.

But the picture and the memorial name don't match at all. I now know from documents I have found that my great gramma was Grace L. Thomas Matthews Toland Shea born 1880 in Texas. The photo of the headstone indicates a birth year of 1890.

I also know she remarried Shea at some point but I do not remember ever hearing her Shea husbands name, so I don't know for sure that either of these Grace Shea ladies are my actual great grandmother.

So what I am wondering is this, do you know, or know how I could find out, if there are two Grace Sheas buried at Green Hills Memorial Park? Or do I create a new memorial for Grace L. Shea? (Assuming of course that the headstone picture is indeed my great gramma Grace L. Shea

I realize the information was uploaded by a volunteer and I am very grateful for the work Warren Weimar did in entering all of the information to Find a grave.

Any help you can provide me with would be very helpful and I thank you for your time in advance.

I see you left a flower on Francesca's memorial last year, but didn't send me an update in the 'edit's or SACs. Is that middle name you left in the flower section of her memorial her middle name? Maiden name? Just something you picked up somewhere, hence no update?

Hi Susan. I've added the photos to their memorials. I think it is pretty clear that Jason is buried here, not Sacramento. If this were a cenotaph, it would not be listed as a burial on Green Hills' website. Besides, even if it were a cenotaph, you should not delete it as requested, because cenotaph memorials ARE allowed on Find A Grave.

If you need anything else, just let me know.

Best regards,

Yes! I do remember that... It was the City of Hopes Walk 4 Hope. Great event - I do it every year now. :-)

I have done the Relay For Life for the last 3 years as well here in Torrance. I love the event because it raises so much cancer awareness. That was great of Kohl's! It's so amazing to see the big box names getting involved. The fashion show sounds awesome... Next time, invite me! :O)

Was great hearing from you and thanks so much for transferring my Grandpa & Grandma to me. Not sure if you have gotten to Leo yet. He was killed by a drunk driver - so young and so senseless. :O(

Take care!

Thank you for letting me know. I'll get a correct photo. I did not see any other Metropouloses in the area and I assumed Maria was with Constantine.

PS - I never go on Billion Graves. A couple of years ago you could just anonymously use that site but ever since they demand that you identify your email address, just to view the content -- well I never went back. If that ever changes, I might use it again.

Mary Ann Palumbo
RE: Memorial for your Dominic Palumbo
I can't believe I made this mistake. I am usually very thorough. This grave is not even close. I don't know how to transfer the pictures to the memorial # you gave me. If you can help, then I will transfer; otherwise I will delete them. The Dominic Palumbo I am looking for is my husband's great Uncle. He was born in St Paul Minnesota on June 10,1909 to Michele & Michela Palumbo. His mother's maiden name was Farinacci. He died February 10, 1942 in Los Angeles, California. His wife's name was Helen Boyce. I know he worked at the Paris Inn in Calif. for many years.

Robert Eugene Fisher 88363422
Hi, I'd just like to thank you for providing the death certificate for Robert Fisher. He's my husband's biological father's (Richard Eugene Clarke, son of his daughter Henrietta Maud Fisher) maternal grandfather. With so many adoptions and name changes in the family it's been quite a challenge to trace and my husband didn't think it would ever be possible to track them down. My Ancestry account is in limbo for a while (medical bills piling up..I can pay for one or the other but not both) so I can only go by the hints and track them down on Family Search or googling everything I can think of. I sincerely appreciate your addition to his memorial.

Bless you in all you do,

Thanks for adding the alternate name. Researching this name is difficult because it is sometimes spelled Bran, Brann, Brawn and is often transcribed as Brown. (It came down to me as Brann and I understand this is the most common spelling.) This is the first time I've seen anyone who deliberately spelled it Brown. And recently I learned that the original spelling was Braund! You obviously did a lot of work to determine what the name should be. I appreciate that.
