I beg your pardon this is a plot number. Does the cemetery have any records of who purchased the plot?

Can you tell me with what certainty you know this person is actually interred here? No birth date no death date no picture no plot number. Just curious because if this is a junior then he would probably be a second cousin. His father same name was my great uncle born in Stark county OH in 1883

Robert Menzies
Do you know anything about this Mr Menzies? I wonder if he is the former Master Chief Robert Menzies I was stationed with in California many years ago. His date of death would've been after 1997.

Williamson, Bill
I have a request of you, your help in this research is most appreciated. I am looking for Bill Williamson lll, father of William Cody Williamson lV. Bill passed sometime in the past two years, and he is my cousin. The family as a whole has moved out of the South Bay area after his passing. I am looking for the date he passed away, and in what county of California.

RE: 71424073 Heacock 86377719
The memorial I have is correct. Edna Margaret Petty did marry Cecil Heacock and he went by the nickname of "Forrest". They were my gr-aunt and
uncle so I know the picture is correct cause I got it from my grandma. The only part I am unsure
of , is the burial place. I will mark it unknown.
There must be a second set of Cecil and Edna Heacock that you are talking about.

Garnett, Lucille and Lindsay
Hi Susan, Wow, what a wonderful job you are doing. I stumbled across my cousin and her husband and wondering if you would be so kind as to transfer their memorials to me. I'm trying to keep the family all together on Find A Grave. Lucille's maiden name was Krueger and gosh, what a story the family had to tell.

Lucille's # is 71400563
her husband's is # 71400564

My # is 47125162

Thank you so much for your consideration.

Thanks for providing the newspaper articles on Dr. Bard, I thoroughly enjoyed reading them. Green Hills is by far the most beautiful cemetery in the area so well maintained and well marked, made for an easy find of the headstones.

In fairness to those . . .
. . . Hi Susan! I just noticed you borrowed this little 'bit' on your bio page. I couldn't think of a nice way of putting it, and gave it some thought before I wrote that. Strangely enough, yours is not the only bio page I've seen it on. Great minds think alike! Actually, I was just getting weary of people asking for transfers of all people with a particular surname, and it just seemed like a waste of time. I also get people who ask for transfers with no real connection ("please transfer this one, I think it is my grandmother's first husband's nephew") and other ridiculous requests. Kinda makes you wonder!

I actually got up there last week for a few photo requests. It was surprising, though, because there are quite a few volunteers who go up there and it seems that everyone else is able to claim them much faster than I can. I may be at my office on the computer most of the day, but I'm not able to click over to Find A Grave anytime I feel like it! *sigh* although sometimes I wish I could.

Take care,
B.J.

Uh oh . . .
. . . that same contributor has duped a number of yours, as well. She must not be checking before she creates memorials. I'll let you have a go at dealing with it. See the Carmona memorials that have photo requests on them.

Roy Davis
Hi Susan. I'm not sure what to do with this one. In your first SAC you mention his nickname as being Roy. The marriage cert you have added shows his full name as Noble Leroy Davis. But I also have a SAC from you that is asking to change the middle name to Noble and the first name back to Roy. Should I leave this memorial with the name from the marriage cert? Also, I have found so many inaccuracies in the CA Death Index. I have seen the first and middle names reversed (more than once).

I sure don't like telling people about duplicates! You never know how they are going to react. There are bunch of them that I haven't dealt with yet. One person created duplicates for a family in one cemetery, and my originals even have headstone photos on all of them. I discovered it when the person requested a photo on one of the duplicates . . . Oh well.
