|Pat Ruiz||Joseph Motyka|
I just sent an edit for Joseph Motyka. There are some variations in his birth date from 21 Mar 1886 in the California Death Index, 24 Mar 1886 WWI Draft Card, 26 Mar 1886 WWI and SSDI.

Would you mind transferring Michael Maxell to his father, 48533292? I had taken the picture, but I don't "own" the memorial. I offered to transfer and he said great, but alas it wasn't mine to transfer.

Thank you for the linkage to his spouse. As you noted in his wife's bio, their son was US Army GEN Fred Keith Mahaffey, a Army legend. He was my brother's Battalion Commander in Vietnam and revered by those who served under him.
I doubt you will remember this, but you pointed out a very close relative several years ago who had been killed in a tragic train/car crash in the 1953 in Kansas.
So, again, thank you for all of that. It is all very helpful.

The markers are very worn and difficult to read, if you are not happy with the photos, I will delete them. I couldn't find Leonard's marker. Next time I put flowers on my father-in-law's grave I will look again, they are not too far from him.

Hi Susan. I know exactly what you mean. I think that is why the other contributor insists on making duplicates. She must feel that it is the only way some of the deceased persons can be found on searches. Without regard for what the cemetery record actually says, she will keep creating new memorials at Green Hills based on the inscriptions. I guess it is really not that big of a deal, but it creates problems when links are being made, etc. As far as a new search parameter, that would be great. I don't know if you member, but a long time ago, the maiden names were not included in searches. We were all doing cartwheels when they added that feature!
I will only be creating new memorials for very recent burials that I come across while photographing, so hopefully it won't happen again. But if you catch any more that I have done like that, just let me know.
Have a nice long holiday weekend.

Hi Susan. I'm glad you are doing well; I am the same. Yes, it is a dupe and you can see why, with the name being different on her crypt. I will delete it, but there is a good chance this will happen again. There is another contributor who admits that she will keep making entries from Green Hills based on what she finds on the headstones. There are probably already quite a few, and it will be a continuing process to weed them out. Good luck!

|Shelly Gephart Adam||RE: Abram Kaseroff|
Thank you so much Susan for the transfer of Abram Kaseroff. There are many different spellings that were used for the last name. So confusing at times!
You've been a great help. I also sent you a request for some other family members to be transfer. Keep up the good work! Shelly

The plot for Abram Kaseroff is plot #86, Bay View Terrace #8. Plot was purchased Aug. 18, 1953. I have a copy of the purchase agreement.
Thanks for your help,
