Hello, and welcome -My name is Beckie. I am an avid and passionate Genealogist. Frequently - I read through very old newspapers and I'll come across an article about the death of someone and I'll do a little research and add a find-a-grave page for that individual. I hope you are a family member of these people, and that you find them because I believe that no one should ever be forgotten. I have been doing genealogy research for over 45 years. It all started when I first interviewed my grandparents and got hooked from there. One of the reasons I joined Find-A-Grave, is because of my hope of finding the gravesites that I can only hope to visit. I am busy with several projects to document the history of the Major's Choice property in Bel Air, Maryland. Along with a great friend who lives next to the Philip Henderson home, we are trying to document the slaves that lived and worked on that property. In our research, we have expanded to the lives of so many prominent Bel Air residents of the time period from 1750 to the 1950s. 200 years!

Additionally, there is a very worthwhile restoration and rehabilitation effort in a very rundown cemetery in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
Through research, I am helping to add names to that cemetery, and as the other dedicated volunteers find the buried headstones, I'll create a F.A.G. memorial for them and help to provide a legacy for the families of those interred in Duncan Heights Cemetery.

In addition, I am working feverishly to complete my own project for my kids. See the above webpage for my project.

In particular, Jerry Bridges was a Vietnam War MIA for a very long time 1968-1994. And finally laid to rest in 2002 in Giles Memory Garden, Pulaski, Tennessee. If you live in that area, please, get a picture of his grave. FOUND AT MEMORIAL # 15123871, Would mean the world to me. His name engraved first on my Vietnam MIA bracelet I received in 1971 and has been engraved in my heart ever since then. I've now been to Giles Cemetery and erected in the middle of that cemetery is a beautiful memorial, just for him. He also has a place of rest in Arlington National Cemetery, and his name is listed with the other men that died in the rescue helicopter, which was later discovered.

Through my website www.choatesoftennessee.weebly.com I have come in contact with so many Choate family members who are eager to find more for their families. I am so happy to help, so keep it coming. I have had the opportunity to go to Bourland Cemetery in Keller Texas to document for myself the information I've collected over the years for the Choate Family. Thank you to [email protected] for the contributions of the Choate names to the Findagrave database. Much appreciated.

I am a very dedicated volunteer member of Find-A-Grave and I look forward to any requests made by others to help them in their search! May you all find peace in your hearts and may God shine his light upon you. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palms of His hands.---------------------
