I'm constantly researching Teague, Prater, Kidd, Stone,Porter, Perry, Faris, Lackey, Hall , Berry, Shell, & Collins lines in Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia on my side of the family. Researching Hutzler, Mangold, Krause, Zuercher, Bohl, Gross from Texas and Alsace Lorraine on my husband's side of the family.
I am Interested in antiques, organic gardening, birds, historical sites, family, grandkids, collecting "junk" and of course genealogy. I love to walk through the cemeteries and I take as many pictures of the graves as I can.
My latest "hobby" is to scour the antique stores and flea markets for photographs that have names, locations and dates on them. I purchase the photos, take them home for additional research and try to return them back to the rightful families. Hopefully I will post a picture that will help someone else. I am always willing to help with anyone's questions or requests, even if they are not the lines I am researching.
