Hi Mark. Stopped by your Dad's grave 2 days ago to see if his death date is on yet. It wasn't. I'll keep checking. Frank

Just saw your entry for Laura May Beagle in Nebraska. Thank you for posting it. Her maiden name is McMurrin though, not May. Her first married name was May (husband was Daniel May) and her middle name is Belle. My relationship to her is that her father, William McMurrin, is the son of my great grandmother's brother Robert McMurrin. If you could change this I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Thank you. God bless...
|Carrie Bauer||Thank you!!|
Thank you so much for taking the time to add newspaper clippings and notes to the different cemeteries such as Ralston Creek. These old forgotten cemeteries are apart of a huge history that could easily be forgotten. In the Ralston Cemetery alone I have the Prices, Carrolls, Dentons, Brinkerhuffs. I have genealogy relations all over Colorado, Wyoming, etc. and thanks to people like you, I can fill in a few holes here and there. I have actually painstakingly gone through the old newspaper clippings searching for anything that could help.
Thank you again!

Mark thank you of the picture of my great grand aunt Carrie Owen's grave marker. With a wooden grave marker your picture will serve as a lasting memorial to her life.
I'm requesting permission to use your photo on my family tree.
Thanks Chris L.

Although Lulu's name is on the gravestone with her husband John in the Arvada Cemetery, Arvada, Jefferson Co., Colorado. Lulu is not buried there. She died in Guttenburg, Clayton Co., Iowa. Cemetery records shows her dying in the Guttenberg Hospital, Guttenburg, Clayton Co., Iowa and is buried with her grandparents Fred & Rebecca (Wubke) Hedeman in the New Garnavillo Cemetery in Garnavillo, Clayton Co., Iowa.

Thanks, Mark. I found out last week that Sarah's headstone will be replaced by the Cemetery Restoration Project. When that happens, she will at last have a headstone. I'll let you know if I hear more. Regards, Tracy
|EGF||A word of appreciation and thanks|
I have a relative buried in Arvada Cemetery, and was browsing through the memorials looking for other family members. I happened to notice that you have attached scanned images of newspaper obituaries and death notices (with source citations) to a great many of the Arvada memorials.
These obituaries are terrific, not only as a memorial to the deceased, but also as a resource for living family members seeking clues for further research. I am sure you have invested a great deal of time and effort in locating and sharing those images. I want to say "thank you" for your splendid contribution to the memorials specifically, and to Find A Grave in general.
Keep up the excellent, important work you are doing. You are a credit to this site.
