|John Mallory Land||CORRECTION|
I see now that you were posting the names of Ben's parents, Warren & Elsie ECHOLS, not the names of your own relatives. Do you happen to be kin? Thanks again - jml
|John Mallory Land||Memorial #32955995|
Hi - I see that you posted at the memorial for Ben C. ECHOLS that you are an ECHOLS descendant. I wondered if you had any way to get in touch with his widow, Liz (BUTLER) ECHOLS? She is a double cousin of mine through her mother, but I have not been in touch with her for years and would like to reconnect. If you like, you can email me privately at firstname.lastname@example.org . I had a related question as well - because I have Liz's father's side posted in my family tree on Ancestry.com, a man contacted me yesterday with the following question which relates to that family: "There is a Jennie Royal born 1863 died 1883 buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro, TN. Wife of L. M. Butler. I am tracing Royals and this is the same cemetery my father is buried in. Could this be the same as the Engenia "Jennie" Royal in your tree. If so, do you have any other information about her? There is a similar marriage listed as:
James M Butler to Miss Eugenia Royal on 20 Nov 1879 in Rutherford County, TN" James Monroe & Eugenia (ROYAL) BUTLER are Liz's great-grandparents. I thought I would ask her if she happened to have information on this, but perhaps you or one of your family contacts may have information to share with this gentleman? The only way I have to contact him back is through Ancestry, but I would be glad to forward any information to him that anyone might have. Thank you so much! - John
