Aurora wa born 28 July 1824 in Derby, Orleans, Vermont and died 29 June 1846 in Hockingport, Athens, Ohio.
Aurora was the oldest child of Daniel Brown and Fanny (Grow) Brown.
Daniel and Fanny are both listed on www.findagrave.com in Orleans, Vermont.

Update on Aurora B. Brown.

From the family genealogy book of John Goow of Ipswich. under person numbered 91.
Fanny (Abisha, James, Thomas, John) b March 28, 1801 Norwich, Vt, m at Derby, Vt, June 1, 1823 Daniel Brown. skipping ahead to the children.
1 Aurora B. b July 26, 1824 d at Hocking, Ohio June 29, 1846.

The following comes from 8 August 1846, St. Johnsbury Caledonia Record, page 3.
"St Hockingport (Ohio) June 29th, Aurora B. Brown, daughter of Daniel Brown of Derby, VT., AGED 21 years and 11 months.
Therefore perhaps that data meaning the date of birth of your Aurora might be in error.

Ihave a distant cousin Aurora B. Brown who died in Hockington. And my cousin Aurora was borh 26 July 1824 and died 23 June 1946. This data comes from a family book online John Grow of Ipswich. The above data can be found under person # 93, Fanny Grow, who was Aurora's mother.

Fairview Chapel has been pastored by both my late father-in-law, Hershel Thompson, and now by his son, John Thompson. I did not realize that Forrest was the son of Orange...fascinating write up! There is a sunken plot near Orange's tombstone...it may be his son.
