RE: A Big Thank You Fairview Chapel has been pastored by both my late father-in-law, Hershel Thompson, and now by his son, John Thompson. I did not realize that Forrest was the son of Orange...fascinating write up! There is a sunken plot near Orange's tombstone...it may be his son.
Gallagher Family in Fairview Cemetery Hello Maspeth - Thank you for your many contributions to FindAGrave! I have added photos of the Gallagher family's grave to their memorials. My husband lived in the area at the time of the fire, and was familiar with the incident. Kind regards, Susan Thompson
My name is Sarah Stodder and I'm a freelance writer based in Queens. I'm interested in writing about the Find-A-Grave.com community, and especially about the Photo Request forum. I'm fascinated by the generous spirit of Find-A-Grave users when it comes to helping other users out, from placing flowers on graves to photographing headstones. I've noticed that you have fulfilled some of these photo requests, and I'd love to speak with you about what motivates you to do it.
You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 415-730-1338. Thanks so much for your time - looking forward to hearing from you!
Pauline Theisen/Thiesen -- Chauncey, OH Thanks for the pictures of Pauline Theisen's grave. Actually, the last name should be Theisen, rather than Thiesen; I'm sure just a typo but I'm not sure how to change it. Do you know who currently manages Nye Cemetery in Chauncey?
