Hi Mary, Has your e-mail address changed? I've e-mailed you a few times and hadn't heard back. I have some Rorie materials I would like to share with you. Shoot me an e-mail or send me your new one when you get a chance. Thanks, hope you're well.

Are you familiar with Harris Ryan from Alabama who is 28 and living in Texas by 1850??? Some web info seems to place him as the son of William Ryan and Martha "Patsy" Forman Ryan, but I cannot prove that, but he sure seems to have lots of connections to northern Alabama and most especially Morgan County.
His son was Abraham M. Ryan: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=14557223
Abraham's first wife was Mary Elizabeth Blevins: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=14558686
Abraham's in-laws were: Abraham Blevins and Sarah Ann Forman Blevins so his mother-in-law's grandfather would have been Elijah Forman.
Anything you know might help!

There are a few more I will be posting. I have to go back and try to get a better lighting on them. The stones are light gray, and the sun just was not cooperating the day I took the pictures. So keep watching for a few more new ones.
|melanie||RE: Melanie, Thank you very much for the really great photos you have taken at the Littlejohn Cemet|
I have to work the rest of this week and the weekend but I will try to go back next week during the afternoon to see if I can get better pics of the Martin and Elizabeth Walker Clay and the J. H. Clay headstones (sun in wrong position for ideal photos). I also photographed one of the infant Clay headstones, but cannot decipher the dates.
