If you look at the stone it says: Age 12 Ds., which my guess is that ds. would mean days, if you look at Elouise Michaelis name it has months and days as well and the days part has ds. as well.

RE: Doody
I don't know which one of the two dates is correct, so why don't we use leave things the way they are now, which will show the discrepancy between the recorded birth date and what was written in the newspaper. The more I think about it, since it is a date, the 1815 date is more likely to be correct.

RE: Doody
Hi,

Thanks for the information. I was hoping ...

I wonder, which birth year is correct. Where did your information (born in 1815) come from?

Michael Doody
I have just copied an obituary for Michael Doody (Memorial# 42804414), which indicates that he was born in 1810, not 1815, as the memorial presently indicates. I don't know if you are related, but my wife has Doodys in her lineage who came from Co. Cork to Montreal, Quebec in 1825. Some of the ended up in Columbus, Nebraska, around 1875. We haven't found a connection to Michael Doody, but we think it is more than a coincidence, that they ended up in the same state as Michael Doody at that time.
I wonder if you have any more information on Michael Doody and his lineage.

Kvetensky family graves
I'm sorry but I didn't realize you had entries for my relatives so I added new ones a few years back to the cemetery with their parents, siblings, and places of birth and death. This way they are all tied together if someone is doing genealogy. Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. Hope you have a good day.

She passed away on Dec. 19, 1949 not the Dec. 26th. Thank you!

Jerry Kvetensky
Jerry's last name is also spelled "Kvetensky". There is a correct entry already on Find a grave with his parents and siblings' names.
