After retirement from being an elementary school teacher, I have become more involved in genealogy. Visiting cemeteries has helped me complete some missing facts of my ancestors. Since it is impossible to visit all the locations where ancestors are buried, I have found findagrave.com to be a way to see the stones of many of my ancestors.|
Memorials that I have in Newton, Barry, and McDonald Counties, Missouri, and Ottawa County, Oklahoma, are not related to me. I have found these stones walking cemeteries and taking photos of the stones. Memorials that I maintain in Jasper County, Missouri, are not related to me. I would be happy to transfer any of these memorials to family members. The reason that I have added photos is to help families find their ancestors.
Please do not post death certificates or obits in the photo section of memorials that I maintain. I would like for this space to be available for descendants to add personal photos. Thank you for helping with this.

Personally, I don't mind obits, they do have a lot of info in them. I know that Find A Grave will take them off of memorials. I also think on unmarked graves a generic missing head stone photo would work! I will post what ever I can to the memorial from the obit you sent. Thank you for taking the time to find it. If you are related, send thru the edit on memorial a request and be sure to give me your contributor number. Have a great evening!

Well I have to admit that is a complete mystery to me. I just returned from two weeks away from my computer and I've looked in notes and I can find no reason and no information as to why I would post a completely different stone to that grave. I see the obit and unless it was some mystery someone had asked me to post I have no idea. That's just silly. My computer gets glitches at times and maybe it posted to the wrong grave. Do you have problems with stuff when you post to find a grave? Anyway I will delete it or you can and if when I find something I will contact you in person. I never post anything without documentation so this is a great mystery.
Thanks for the heads up. We need to keep the posts as clean as possible.
Thank you again!
Please transfer memorial 160624151 to me. This is.my wife.

I was wondering if you could transfer Find A Grave#114377369 - (Ronald E Sanders) to me? He is my brother and I am trying to keep everything updated for our family. There are a total of 9 siblings and I am the only one into genealogy.
Thank you so very much!!!

Would you please correct the birth date for memorial #26313208 to 1878 and not 1898. Her age on death certificate is 79 and she died in 1957. Also, she had her baby boy in 1899.
Thank you for all that you do to ensure accurate
information for Find A Grave.

Good morning Judie,
Thank you for your kind message. I have taken the photo down and was delighted to be able to contribute a little.

Sorry about the prior blank message. Wish there was a way to edit!
Jacob Vest was my great-grandfather, but I think there may be a couple errors in his write up. Would you be willing to email me about corrections? Thanks so much! babylauseng @hotmail.com
