Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy genealogy with my main lines being Merritt & Cagle and all associated names that go with them. Merritt is out of Cannon County/Dekalb County, Tennessee and Cagle is out of McNairy County, Tennessee.

I think Find A Grave is an excellent site and a fantastic idea. I have found many graves that I have needed on the site and I hope others find the ones I have posted useful.

I love nature and have 12 cats, two koi ponds, feed many mallard ducks, birds, squirrels and whatever else is hungry.

Memorial for Thomas H B Boyd
Previously I had written to thank you for sponsoring the memorial for Thomas H B Boyd, claiming that he was my great great grandfather. I am confused because personally I can find no evidence that this person was related at all. Although I met my great grandfather Lee Jackson Boyd, I never heard anyone in our family mention who Lee's father was or knew what his name was. I'm wondering if anything will ever be found to substantiate the name, dates of birth and death for Thomas H B Boyd. Great grandpa's death record has names of his parents as Austin Benton Boyd and Margaret McGuire. So I don't know. So if you want please delete my messages after you read them. Thank you.

RE: Foster Finley Rigsby #10d8879157
Thank you for your inquiry. My documentation for Foster's memorial comes out of "DeKalb County Cemeteries" by Doris Garrison Gilbert, published 1989. The transcript was originally transcribed in 1959 with update in 1986. If you will note, Foster's wife's memorial, Catherine, is attached to his memorial. A picture of Catherine's tombstone is available at her memorial. According to the Gilbert book, Foster and Catherine are interred side by side in the cemetery. Son Isaac was also interred at Young Bend Cemetery.

I believe that my information is correct.

Patricia Merritt photo request
I noticed you have a photo request for Patricia Merritt at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo, Wisconsin. I do not see her listed under this cemetery under Interment.net but since it is a more recent burial it is probably in one of newer areas. The caretaker of the cemetery is very nice at answering requests for what section burials are in which would make it easier to fill you request. You may want to contact them at bcemetery52@gmail.com and ask for a section letter.

Memorial for Lee Jackson Boyd
Thank you for adding a memorial for Lee J. Boyd's father, Lee was my great grandfather, and Thomas H. B. Boyd my great great grandfather. He also married Mrs. Mandy Hall Peavy in 1922, she was mother of his daughter in law Ida Elizabeth Peavy Boyd. Have you found a headstone for him? Lee did not remarry, and this far have found no records for Susan Smith except census in 1880 with her parents, and record of marriage in 1890 Wood County, Texas. My mom was Oscar Grady SAM Boyd's daughter, still have one living Aunt. Grandpa & Grandma only had 3 children. I am just happy to find this Memorial for Thomas Hart Benton Boyd. However, he also used another name, as I am told by a cousin that is more related to Thomas Newton Boyd & spouse Ida Peavy. Thanks again. Sandy
