The difference between my Added & Managed memorials is due to deceased contributor's memorials having been transferred to me by Find-A-Grave.

I am a Great Niece to Alice Vanderpool. My Grandfather was her brother John. Looking for information on the family. I don't have any pictures of anyone but Uncle Gerald who died this year in CA. I was able to do his DNA when visiting him this past summer. My husbands very 1st First SGT was a Vanderpool from this family also. We live in Bellevue NE. Looking forward to speaking in the future. firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com

|Carolyn Lloyd||Linda Wright at Desert View Cem|
Bill, I only found one tree on ancestry with Linda on it. It does link her to those parents that you entered at Desert View Cemetery and the ones I took the photo of. But in looking at what records are available for birth and marriage in CA there are no records that match what is on the tree. That tree is the Scott & Skidmore tree where the Wright family is found. They also have a Lee Vern Wright, sister to Linda and she is buried in CA and on findagrave as well. I see that you transferred the Wright parents memorials. It does seem probable that Linda is a daughter of Lester & Helen. But no birth record in CA for her. And can't check OK online for births. Also there is a marriage in 1972 in CA according to the Scott tree, but CA marr records don't show a Linda that matches her. Also checked NV but none. This marriage date is actually for her sister Lee.
I can send a request to link Linda and sister Lee to the parents. Let me know if I can help further. Carolyn at firstname.lastname@example.org

No. But let me do some research in awhile and I will see what I can find. Baby to you later today.
|Martha Smith||Elender Vanderpool|
I saw your name as a visitor on my Grandmother Susan Elizabeth Griffitt Langston's memorial page in Trion Cemetery. I am a descendant of Elender Vanderpool and since that name is rare in this area I think there must be a genealogy connection. I have no other information about her but I do have two photos of her and a Bible that has her name written in the front cover but Sadly no family records.If you or anyone else on Find a Grave have any genealogy records and/or burial site I would appreciate any and all information.
|Myra Vanderpool Gormley||death of Sterling/Starling Vanderpool|
Bill, I have been unable to find any primary source for the date and place of death of Starling/Sterling Vanderpool. It appears he probably died between about 1897 and 1900. Probably in Whitley (or Knox) County, KY. His widow, Susan "Susie" [nee Siler] is shown in 1900 census as a widow with 5 children. She married 27 Nov. 1907 to Huse IVY (Austin Huse IVY). It was second marriages for both of them (per marriage record). They are shown in 1910 Knox County, KY with a household consisting of (it appears) his and her children. IVY apparently dies between 1910 and 1920 because Susan is shown in 1920 census with her married daughter, Mary w/o Sam Reynolds living in Knox County, KY. I last find Susan in 1940 Whitley County, KY census with her widowed daughter, Lillian DIXON.
None of the references I examined for Starling's place of death/burial in TN provide any primary source for their information -- apparently have been copied from each other. It is peculiar that there is no KY death record for him, but it may be that his name is so garbled on the record he has not been identified as yet.
Thanks for all your work.

She might actually be there and I overlooked it. The records I requested were not all in alphabetical order which made it hard to find someone.

Thank you so much for transferring Frances's memorial. I appreciate it.
Bill, wow so many edits. Thanks. You are obviously related and make it clear in your bio. I am not family in any way and you are, so would you like to take over management of these memorials? Will process your edits now. BJ

Bill there are some headstones that are really faded and weathered that cannot be read.
