Thank you for letting me know. I have been pretty busy trying to get ready to move out of state and hadn't been on in a while. God Bless.

Find-a-grave.com on the left is cemetary lookup then enter cemetary name you want to look up or you can go to begin new search type in name and state but no county and will look thru that state for the lane name.

RE: Edgar Lee Vanderpool
What I read is "son of Clarence Henry Vanderpool and Esther Smith."

I am very certain that this man is the "boy next door". His birth date is the first clue to me because Edgar was born 28 March 1928 and I was born 8 April 1928. I never forget him on that date.

His mother, Thelma, was a very sick woman. My mother spent a lot of time with her because of Thelma's illness. As a result I spent a lot of time with Edgar

Mr Vanderpool left the family. Went to work one day and never returned. Maybe the woman, Ester Smith, was a second wife. And, perhaps Mrs. Thelma Vanderpool died and Clarence remarried and of course, Edgar, still a very young man was taken in by his father.

Our family left the area when Edgar and I were 10 years old - 1938.
