I will be happy to add any additional information or transfer any of my non-family memorials to anyone who finds that I have entered one of their relatives.|
Please go to the memorial and click on the "Edit" button, then select "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" and ask for the transfer. Please include your contributor's number.
The difference between my Added & Managed memorials is due to deceased contributor's memorials having been transferred to me by Find-A-Grave.

|Myra Vanderpool Gormley||death of Sterling/Starling Vanderpool|
Bill, I have been unable to find any primary source for the date and place of death of Starling/Sterling Vanderpool. It appears he probably died between about 1897 and 1900. Probably in Whitley (or Knox) County, KY. His widow, Susan "Susie" [nee Siler] is shown in 1900 census as a widow with 5 children. She married 27 Nov. 1907 to Huse IVY (Austin Huse IVY). It was second marriages for both of them (per marriage record). They are shown in 1910 Knox County, KY with a household consisting of (it appears) his and her children. IVY apparently dies between 1910 and 1920 because Susan is shown in 1920 census with her married daughter, Mary w/o Sam Reynolds living in Knox County, KY. I last find Susan in 1940 Whitley County, KY census with her widowed daughter, Lillian DIXON.
None of the references I examined for Starling's place of death/burial in TN provide any primary source for their information -- apparently have been copied from each other. It is peculiar that there is no KY death record for him, but it may be that his name is so garbled on the record he has not been identified as yet.
Thanks for all your work.

She might actually be there and I overlooked it. The records I requested were not all in alphabetical order which made it hard to find someone.
|Cynthia Boatright Raleigh||Frances Boatwright|
Thank you so much for transferring Frances's memorial. I appreciate it.
Bill, wow so many edits. Thanks. You are obviously related and make it clear in your bio. I am not family in any way and you are, so would you like to take over management of these memorials? Will process your edits now. BJ

Bill there are some headstones that are really faded and weathered that cannot be read.

Re: Richard Fitzgerald @ Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Gresham, Oregon.
Richard is interred at Block D, Section 18, Space 6. There is no marker.
Cemetery Office was unable to locate the request for Blanche Anne (Stephens) Fitzgerald.

Bill, You are welcome. Be sure to check the memorial page I cleaned up the first photo and added a second one of the area.

Thank-you so much.
I just wanted to thank you for the information on the Vanderpools you put on Wynant's memorial. I had just his name as the father of my fourth great grandmother Mary Vanderpool, Moad, but I had no mother or siblings for her. I just wanted you to know I am great full to you.

Thank you for catching that. I did unlinked my Clifford and requested to have the correct Clifford linked to his spouse. Cindy
