I have been working on my family ancestry for quite sometime now. It did not become that important to me until my Grandpa passed away in 2007 and then my Granny in 2009. I realized just how many stories and facts that I missed out on. I have been researching all sides of my family for the last 2-3 years. |
Family names are: Weast, Lippard, Dobbins, Wall, Honeycutt (and all variations), Morrow, York, Wilhelm, Lowder, Culpepper (all variations), Murph, Weller, Shepard (all variations) Garrett, Sawyer, McPherson, Gammon, Harris, Fortune, Melton, Deck, McLaughlin, Benfield, Biggerstaff, Blanton, Bridges, Burgess, Carpenter, Christy, Cockerham, Deal, Hames, Hamrick, Hawkins, Holland, Humphries, Jenkins, Jolley and Ross.
Husbands Family names are: King, Hancock, Pegram, Shrader,Woods, Ellis, Cupp & Sweeney.
I enjoy finding all of the old family cemeteries that are off the beaten path and posting those on here. I will take pictures of any that I find. Please feel free to copy any pictures I take. You have my full permission to post them to Ancestry.com or any other site. Also, I will gladly transfer anyone that is not kin to me, all you have to do is ask!

Thank you for making the connection to Jason's father. I appreciate your time and trouble.
Hey, Angi! My uncle works for the railroad and tells me of any cemeteries he sees that I may not know about, since he knows how I love the old, remote ones. Anyway, the other day he asked me if I knew about Stockton St. He also remarked that someone has really been cleaning it up. I tell you all of this just to let you know people have noticed all the work you guys have done there! I wish my health would've allowed me to be of some help.

Thank you for going out to look for her stone at the cemetery. I appreciate it very much. You mentioned that you found a stone with all the McGhee family members. If you get a chance to go out there would you be able to photograph the stones for me?
