|Jenny Willis||David G. Gregory|
Just found a short obit for David Gregory on Newspapers.com. It is in the Galveston Daily News 3 Jan 1990 page 3. It says "Alleyton, Tex., Jan. 2--Dr. D. G. Gregory died yesterday, January 1, at 5:30 a. m., and was buried today at the Alleyton Cemetery at 2 p.m. He was 81 years of age, an old settler, and well known throughout west Texas."

Hi Skip, I corresponded with you a while back about my family, but how did you ever find this article from a Houston paper. I also had found some years ago the article about mauric and the horse accident & Therezie poisoning herself as she could couldn't face life without him, I have a copy of the article the week it happened and a week later when it said she poisoned herself and then he died, from the Weimar Mercury I think if you would like a copy.

You have put the wrong headstone photo for Find A Grave Memorial# 3770537 (Robert D Browne). It should be replaced with the same one you put for his spouse, Kathryn C Browne.
Thank you for all your work on this site. I know how much dedication it takes.
Thanks so much for submitting photos of Emil Schaefer's grave. Thanks also for taking photos of the family plot. I really appreciate it.

Skip, I'll ask the contributor who took the photos to either move them or give me permission to save as and add them to your memorial, then delete mine. I discovered this when wanting to link his son to his parents. Thanks so much and I apologize for the inconvenience.

I've un-intentionally created a duplicate memorial # 142111923 for your David Weaver Brittain # 66059045. His daughter-in-law gave me his name as James Weaver and I didn't notice the dates being the same. In the meantime I requested a marker photo which was complied with and the pics attached to my memorial. If you are able to verify the name, perhaps James David Weaver Brittain, I will work on the pics and delete my memorial. Thanks,

154299348. HE MUST HAVE DIED AFTER THE 1930 CENSUS. HE WAS LIVING WITH HIS SON, OTTO WHO IS BURIED IN THE LA GRANGE CITY CEMETERY. I DID NOT FIND HIM IN THE DEATH INDEX, ETC. HE HAD ONE SON WHO LIVED IN KARNES CITY. I GUESS THIS IS ANOTHER LOST SOUL. STRANGE AFTER 1930, ZERO. I EVEN TRIED HIS FIRST NAME AND BIRTH YEAR AND GOT NOTHING. ANGELINA GENZER KRETZSCHMAR

NO IDEA WERE HE IS BURIED. I THINK THE FIRST THING IS TO FIND OUT WHEN HE DIED AND WHERE. IT COULD BE THAT HIS FAMILY BURIED HIM WHERE HE DIED TO SAVE MONEY OR HE IS BURIED IN SAINT MARY'S WITHOUT A TOMBSTONE. WE WALKED SAINT MARY'S CEMETERY SEVERAL TIMES AND I SEEM TO REMEMBER THERE WERE SOME GRAVES WITH ROCKS OR TOMBSTONES THAT WE COULD NOT READ. I HAVE FOUND HUSBANDS AND WIVES NOT BURIED IN THE SAME CEMETERY FOR VARIOUS REASONS, MOSTLY BECAUSE AFTER ONE SPOUSE DIED, THE OTHER SPOUSE MOVED AWAY TO LIVE WITH A CHILD AND THE CHILD BURIED THE LAST PARENT CLOSE TO THEM. IN MY OWN CASE, I WAS TOLD ONE OF MY ANCESTORS WAS BURIED ON HIS FARM. GOOD LUCK AND KEEP IN TOUCH. ANGELINA GENZER KRETZSCHMAR
