I have corrected the typo in his wife's name
(Clackley-now Cleckley) and have linked her
to him. Thanks for all you do at findagrave!

Hi again, I think we have communicated before. Husband is descendant of Joseph DeWitt and Adelaide Wiggins DeWitt. Has taken me a long time to find "Wiggins". I know Joseph is in line of Charles but cannot find any documents saying so. His son Jacob Dewitt and Elizabeth Remley are his gr-granparents.

Both were correct. Thank you for the added info.

Wiley, First let me say a great big Thank You for the wonderful job you are doing with the cemetery pictures for Find A Grave. This site is an awesome research tool for genealogist and historians and especially caring family members who are unable to visit the graves of their loved ones. Please continue and let me know if I can help in any way.
Also, thanks for your concern about Uncle Ira's grave site. He was my great Aunt Sudie McKenzie's first husband and also related to my family several different ways through his own family. His is such a sad story and many years ago, Aunt Sudie related this info personally. Genealogy has been my hobby for over fifty years (my husband calls it my obsession).
Ivory (Ira) was a hunter, and while hunting with a hammerless gun, he slipped on a log and was fatally shot through the heart. There are several unmarked graves at Connors and Ira's is one of them. His parents James H, and Ann Jane and most of their family are buried there. I think Ira rests beside a younger brother, Mitchell (1900-1901) and possibly his sister Dera. It's been many years since I've been there.
Sudie, who was six months pregnant when Ira was accidentally killed, went home to live
with her parents. They had small pox and Sudie's baby was born with small pox and died. I believe this child was buried there also, but I'm not sure.
If you will check Aunt Sudie and Uncle Joe's Find A Grave memorials, you will see I have added pictures for them and I have requested maintenance from Brenda in order to link to the rest of their families.
Thanks again for your concern, but I feel all known interments deserve a memorial, and I hope this one will remain on Find A Grave.
Thank you, WD, so much for the beautiful photo's and your spent for them...How thoughtful...
