Bio Photo If I have helped you with a photo or such..then you are welcome! All I ask is that you return a random act of kindness to someone in need.

I enjoy helping people, photography and genealogy so visiting nearby cemeteries to provide photos is a natural fit and my pleasure.... besides it gives me some needed exercise!

If you see a memorial I created that you want to manage please email me and I will gladly transfer it to you. Please include your Contributor ID# that appears beside your name in your profile.

If you want to use any of the photos that I have taken and posted feel free to do so...just drop me a line, I may also have a different view of the photo.

I have copies of the old Philos Cemetery burial books and maps and also I have access to St James' Episcopal Church records here in Westernport.

Information for many of the Fazenbaker memorials is from the book " The Fazenbaker Family of Western Maryland" by Walter L. Warnick 1991.

I reside in Westernport, Allegany Co, Maryland

I have permission of the Piedmont Herald Newspaper to use their printed obituaries. The Herald is closed and no longer in business.

Copp Family
Wanted to thank you for getting the photos for me for Karl and Nealie Copp there at Queen Meadow Cemetery. I also wanted to mention that the photo you posted to their son, Harry Lee Copp's memorial page is not correct Harry Copp. The dates are way different and the middle initial is different. Harry Lee Copp also was cremated. That doesn't mean his ashes were not interred but I truly think you have the wrong picture on the wrong page. Can you take a look and see what you think?

Thanks again for the photos of Karl and Nealie. Maybe the other Harry is the father of Karl instead of his son?

Hi John,

Thank you so much for the information. I just thought that Bessie and her father John Welch would be buried there since her husband George and mother Mary Ellen were buried there.

Thank you,
Sharon Blevins

Mr. Fazenbaker,

I have been searching for Mr. Stonebraker`s wife Bessie and father-in-law John Welch. I believe that it is possible that they are buried at Queen`s Point. Do you know if there is a complete listing of everyone that has been buried at Queen`s Point? I would appreciate it so much if you could possibly let me know.

Thank you,
Sharon Blevins

Yes, I know Nancy. We are also friends on Facebook. Her photography skills are fantastic.

There are so many Metts/Metz and Fazenbaker inter-marriages it even becomes confusing. It does confirm that one way or another the Fazenbaker and Metts/Metz families are related.

I welcome all information about these families. Sometimes you can find missing information that you didn't know you were missing until it is found.

Sounds like you took our lovely scenic routes and that area of Arizona is beautiful, I agree.

My Dye/Metz family left Lonaconing for the Denver area, then two generations later my grandparents (a Dye/Metz granddaughter) moved to Albuquerque in the 1930s. I was born and raised in Albuquerque in the 1950/1960s and then lived briefly on the NorthWest coast. I came home for my career years and now my retirement.

My leisure time trips usually include volunteer work and/or physically retracing locations from my family history.

No, slightly further away. I live in central New Mexico (between Albuquerque and Santa Fe). But, you never know, anything is possible. I do hope to be in Allegany County, Maryland, someday.
