I enjoy helping people, photography and genealogy so visiting nearby cemeteries to provide photos is a natural fit and my pleasure.... besides it gives me some needed exercise!|
If you see a memorial I created that you want to manage please email me and I will gladly transfer it to you. Please include your Contributor ID# that appears beside your name in your profile.
If you want to use any of the photos that I have taken and posted feel free to do so...just drop me a line, I may also have a different view of the photo.
I have copies of the old Philos Cemetery burial books and maps and also I have access to St James' Episcopal Church records here in Westernport.
Information for many of the Fazenbaker memorials is from the book " The Fazenbaker Family of Western Maryland" by Walter L. Warnick 1991.
I reside in Westernport, Allegany Co, Maryland
I have permission of the Piedmont Herald Newspaper to use their printed obituaries. The Herald is closed and no longer in business.

Thanks for sending the funeral notice for Mary, it verifies the March 6th death date (as the news article is March 9th). I've changed both her birth/death dates to reflect the headstone, rather than the obituary info.
Thanks also for checking for a headstone for William, he is a bit of a mystery :)

Oh, you're welcome. I enjoyed it so much.
|Karen Bennett||Rev Martin Luther Maysilles|
Thank you for posting the nice picture of my husband's great grandfather and thank you for the obituary as well, we had not seen it before. Rev Maysilles had one child with his second wife, Mary Louise Duckworth, this son was named Evers Maysilles, after the last name of a respected United Brethern Minister, possibly from Benevola Maryland but that is only a guess, because Rev Maysilles traveled west from Benevola. Evers was my husband's grandfather.
thank you for your hard work.
