Thomas J. Marshall middle name
Hi Sonya...can you tell me if there is a source document for Thomas Marshall's middle name being John rather than Joseph, as noted in your flowers tribute to Julia DeVane? Thanks so much for any reply.

John and Bill DeVane
Thanks so much for posting these memorials. I have been searching for them for a while.
I am a second cousin of Bill and my mother was a first cousin to his mother Catherine. My first husband and I and our children stayed in Tommyhawk with them back in the 1960s. Have worked on the Brock family tree for a very long time and get so excited when I find a long lost relative.
I found an obit for Catherine but can you please tell me where she is buried?

Hi Sonya,
Are you related to the Blans/Blands in Pike county, AL. I am not part of the family, but am trying to research the family for a family member. I noticed you have photographed many of the family of Sherman and Ether/Ethel Blan.
Thank you,

Thank you for the 2nd obit! I knew the first one didn't sound right and felt sure she should be placed with parents.

Mount Zion Cemetery
Sonya,
Thanks 4 documenting the Mount Zion Cemetery. I have been taking pictures and obtaining info at Mount Zion and would like to discuss with U on how to proceed at other local Cemeteries. By the way, Addie Williams is a relative of mines and I thank U very much for the information.

Marshall Goodgame
Hi Sonya,
Is there a way to send my email address to the family that gave information and the upkeep of my grandfathers gravesite.
We have been searching for him to no avail.

Thanks
Nelda

Mary E. Kelly Cromartie
Hi Sonya,
I am looking for the tombstone of a grandmother, Mary E. Kelly Cromartie, b. 1811, d. 1833. She is the first wife of George Cromartie, 1804-1892. (George's mother was Elizabeth DeVane.) Find-a-Grave says she is buried on JM Guyton's farm south of Elizabethtown, NC. Do you have any info on this as far as cemeteries or family bibles?
Thank you,
Catherine Cromartie Norris
Wilmington, NC
