Are you related to the Blans/Blands in Pike county, AL. I am not part of the family,but am trying to research the family for a family member. I noticed you have photographed many of the family of Sherman and Ether/Ethel Blan.

much appreciated by me.

Thank you for the 2nd obit! I knew the first one didn't sound right and felt sure she should be placed with parents.

Thanks 4 documenting the Mount Zion Cemetery. I have been taking pictures and obtaining info at Mount Zion and would like to discuss with U on how to proceed at other local Cemeteries. By the way, Addie Williams is a relative of mines and I thank U very much for the information.

I was so impressed to see what you did on my dad's site.(Obal DeVane Duncan). I am a big DeVane researcher if you would like to swap data. Larry Duncan

Is there a way to send my email address to the family that gave information and the upkeep of my grandfathers gravesite.
We have been searching for him to no avail.

I am looking for the tombstone of a grandmother, Mary E. Kelly Cromartie, b. 1811, d. 1833. She is the first wife of George Cromartie, 1804-1892. (George's mother was Elizabeth DeVane.) Find-a-Grave says she is buried on JM Guyton's farm south of Elizabethtown, NC. Do you have any info on this as far as cemeteries or family bibles?

Thank you so much Sonya for posting a picture of my great-grandmother's grave. I really appreciate it, it is very hard to find information about African-Americans in Alabama in the early 20th century thanks again.
|Lisa Sanders||Thank you|
Thanks for adding my family records from Fadette church.
