I was born and raised in Immokalee, FL., Collier County and I've lived in Miami, FL., Miami-Dade County since June 2002.
I was fortunate enough to spend most summers in Franklin, NC., as a child & teenager in my families small wooden cabin. It was built mostly out of cypress lumber that my father cut at his sawmill, along with the help of family members and friends. I have wonderful memories of my time there and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I actually hope to retire to that area when it's comes time.
I have always loved people and I find creating profile's for my deceased (immediate & distant) family, friends, and even strangers is rewarding, and I feel I'm giving them a lasting gift from me. I want to see all profiles show their connections to their loved ones: spouse's, parents and children, etc. Seeing a infant death profile without the parents shown, drives me nuts! So sad...
Although, I have to limit my time on it, I find find genealogy / ancestry totally captivating and I hope to bring life too all Find-A-Grave profiles that I can.
