Mrs. Emma Gahagan, an aged resident of this city, died at 1 o’clock Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth hospital. Death followed an illness of six weeks and was due to heart trouble. She had been making her home with a son, M. M. Gahagan, a Monon shops machinist, at 1913 Salem street. She was 67 years old.

Mrs. Gahagan was born July 28, 1855, in Auburn, N. Y., and came here from Illinois seven years ago to take up residence with her son, with whom she has lived since. She was a member of St. Paul's M. B. church and was held In high esteem.

Two sons, M. M. Gabagan or this city, and E. A. Gahagan, of Pueblo, Colo., survive, together with six grand children

Funeral services were scheduled to be held at the Gahagan home Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock, and the body win be shipped to Pana, Ill., Friday morning for burial.
