Mrs. Lewallen was born in Franklin County on April 23, 1961, daughter of Mary Donna Hill Carey, of Royston, and the late Oravle Carey. She was an assistant manager with Wendy's in Commerce, and a member of the Compassion Baptist Church, in Carnesville.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Lewallen was predeceased by her brother, Jeff Carey. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Matt Elrod, of Royston; grandchildren, Maribeth and Will Gipson; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Janet Carey, of Royston; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Steve Campbell, of Royston; and special friend, Tim Stephens, of Lavonia.
The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Friday, November 2, at Pruitt Funeral Home. The family is at the home of Mary Donna Carey, 158 Bray's Lake Rd., Royston, GA 30662.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lewallen will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, at the Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Franklin Memorial Gardens-South, in Royston.
