Ada Mae Payne
Ada Mae Payne, 70, a resident of Fredonia, died Thursday at St. Margaret's Mercy Hospital.

She was born Sept. 9, 1913, at Fredonia, a daughter of Christopher (Boyd) Cather.

She married Tom Payne Nov. 1, 1933, at Fredonia.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors are her husband, of the home: a son, Howard of Topeka; one daughter, Vina Carr of Blue Mound; seven sisters, Doris Smith, Yola Kingbury and Wilma Cather, all of Fredonia; Viola Taylor and Thelma Nickels Neodesha; Evleta Arnold, Labanon, Ore., and Edith Powell of Lafontaine; one grandchild and thre great grandchildren.
