No public visitation will be held at the funeral home.
Mrs. Knowles died on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in Highlands Medical Center in Sparta.
Johnnie Ruth Knowles was born on Aug. 2, 1935, in Putnam County to the late John Howard and Carrie Ella (Allen) Allison.
Mrs. Knowles was a school safety patrol officer with the Cookeville Police Department and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son and daughterinlaw, Johnny and Carol Maddux of Cookeville. A brother and sisterinlaw:
Buddy and Sharon Allison of Cookeville. And a nephew: Randy Allison of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruthada Maddux Jones, and a brother, Glen Allison.
