Esaw Hamon, 57, of Route 4, Charleston, died Monday in Riverside Nursing Home,
St. Albans, after a long illness.
He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW.
Surviving; daughter, Mrs. Hilda Thomas of Route 4, Charleston; sons, Roger
Hammons and Allen Hammons, both of Frame; sisters, Mrs. Herma Cook of Apopka,
Fla.; Mrs. Gladys Cunningham of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Freda Pritt and Miss Patsy
Hamon, both of Charleston; brothers, H.W. and Oral, both of Route 4, Charleston;
four grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Pocatalico, with
the Rev. Don Young officiating. Burial will be in Kiser Cemetery, Kentuck.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
