Missing her wit and humor, Laura Evelyn Troth Davis, 92, passed away November 4, 2004. Born in Salt Lake City March 30, 1912, the daughter of Alfred Brown and Christina Wright Troth, she married James F. Davis July 31, 1945.
Graduating from LDS High School in 1930 and after attending the University of Utah in 1931, Laura was employed for the Salt Lake City School Board for 38 years, retiring in 1975.
She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Supreme Cootiette Club of the United States.
At the time of her passing Laura was survived by a daughter Laura Davis Knowlton, two grandchild and a great grandson. Her husband James, sister Phyllis Smith and brother Alfred Troth preceded her in death.
Services held at Russon Brothers Mortuary (225 S. 200 E.) at 12 noon Saturday, November 13, 2004. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
