Eleanor C. French, 74, 61 Ames St., died on Feb. 25, 1979 in Massena Memorial Hospital.

She was born on June 4, 1904, in Reynoldston, NY, the daughter of John and Lena LaHare Campbell. She attended schools in Reynoldston. She married Ralph D. French Jan. 15, 1923. Mr. French died July 18, 1977.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Christine) Smith, Burlington, Vt., two sons, Ronald, Grand Bank, MI; and Basil, Brasher Falls; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Irene Avery, St. Regis Falls; one brother, Edmund Campbell, North Bangor; one aunt, several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Mother's Club and the Relief Corps of Sacred Heart League of St. Mary's Church and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.

Burial was made in St. Mary's Cemetery in Brushton.
