Mrs. Ethel E. Apsey of Maryland died February 16 at Fox hospital after a year's illness. She was 61 years old.

Mrs. Apsey was born December 25, 1891, in New Lisbon, daughter of William and Nettie (Stone) Lewis. On July 9, 1910, she was married at Bridgewater to Judson Apsey, who survives. The Apseys moved to Maryland 25 years ago. Mrs. Apsey was employed at Topps Glove Shop in Maryland until six months ago.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Met Kenyon, Bridgewater; Mrs. John Barrett, Sidney, and Mrs. George Beams, Maryland; a son, John Apsey, Bridgewater; two brothers, Charles Lewis, Deposit, and Lester Lewis, Maple Grove; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Potter Funeral Home, Schenevus, with the Revd. Lynn H. Brown, pastor of Schenevus Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be later in Maryland cemetery.
