Born in January 1880 in Dallas, TX, she had been a resident of Oklahoma City since 1905. She was an active member of the DAR, Ladies Music Club, UDC, YWCA, and the Oklahoma City Art League. She was also active in organizations supporting Oklahoma City University and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She and her husband moved to the city at the turn of the century while he was a supervisor for New York Life Insurance Co. She had been a widow for the past four years.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs John Jarman, Washington DC; a son, Hamilton, of the home; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
