A family living in the alley back of McKim's coal yard is in a distressing condition. One child died this morning of black measles, another can not live until night, the Doctor states, and Mrs. Nichols is lying in an unconscious condition. They are in destitute circumstances. The Flower Mission and many of the neighbors learned of the sad condition, and are doing what they can for the unfortunate family.

The Nichols family mentioned in the HERALD yesterday, buried one child, had another to die to-day and another that is not likely to live. Mrs. Nichols is still said to be in an unconscious condition.
