Mrs. Carrigan was born April 27, 1873, in Perry, Pennsylvania. She was married to Edmund Burke Carrigan. Children: Mrs. Harry Mortlock (Phyllis) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Gifford L. Dixon, Sr. (Lila) of Blair, and one son, John Carrigan of Brainard, Minnesota.

Mrs. Frances Carrigan, 88, who passed away July 3, was buried July 5 in the Blair Cemetery following 9:00 a.m. services at St. Mary's Episcopal Church with Rev. Sam Elliston officiating, assisted by Rv. Michael R. Dixon of Valentine, Nebraska.

Mrs. Carrigan was born April 27, 1873, in Perry, Pennsylvania. She was married to Edmond Burke Carrigan who died in 1927. A Washington County resident for seventy years, she had been a resident of Crowell Home since 1959.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harry Mortlock (Phyllis) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Gifford L. Dixon, Sr. (Lila) of Blair, and one son, John Carrigan of Brainard, Minnesota. Six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive.

Pallbearers were A. O. Sick, Don Schettler, Fritz Wolff, Neil Sutton, Gifford Dixon, Jr., Orville Scheffler.
