Kebler Miller, 91, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at The Gables with his family by his side.

Kebler was born March 4, 1921 to Bert and Susie Miller in Laurel Springs, North Carolina.

He was in the Army and fought in France, he was wounded and received a Purple Heart.

On November 16, 1951 Kebler married Evon Wyatt and they made their home in Blackfoot, Idaho. They had three children, two sons and a daughter.

Kebler worked for the Idaho Transportation Department for 32 1/4 years. He was a surveyor and worked on Interstate 15 when it was being built. He was a rockhound and had a shop in his home, where he made jewelry. He also enjoyed metal detecting and was pictured in the newspaper with his grandson, Micah Miller. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Everyone who knew him loved him.

Kebler is survived by his children, sons, Steve (Rhonda) Miller and Rick (Rose) Miller; daughter, Pamela Miller; grandchildren, Micah (Misty) Miller, Douglas (Karen) Miller, J.J. (Barbara) Ditto, Raligh (Whitleigh) Miller and Tara Miller; great grandchildren, Hunter and Bristol Miller, Donovan, Ethan and Oliver Miller, Anjelic Ditto, Bentleigh Miller, Amy Godinez and Tavian Miller; and one sister, Evelyn Hubbard.

He was preceded in death by is wife of over 60 years, Evon Miller; his parents, Bert and Susie Miller; brothers, Steve Miller, Robert Miller and Cad Sheets; sisters, Betty Lou Barrett, Eula Hayes and great-granddaughter, Malia Anjelic Tran.

We would like to thank the Bingham Memorial Hospital and The Gables and Hospice for all the care he was given in his final days.

Cremation services are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. No services are planned at this time.
